The Waterfall Lodge - No 4139
The Waterfall Lodge was consecrated on 29th October 1920 and is No 4139 on the Register of the United Grand Lodge of England. It is a Craft Lodge in the register of the United Grand Lodge of England and also comes under the auspices of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Surrey. The Lodge holds four official meetings each year in March, May, October and December, with the March, May and October meetings on the second Wednesday evenings and the December meeting on the second Tuesday, at Chertsey Masonic Hall.
Waterfall Lodge No. 4139 is a welcoming and forward-looking Freemasons lodge based in Chertsey, Surrey. Founded on the principles of friendship, integrity, charity and personal growth, we bring together men from many different backgrounds who value good company, mutual support, and the opportunity to contribute positively to the wider community.
Freemasonry is often misunderstood as something secretive or exclusive, but at its heart it is simply about people. Waterfall Lodge provides a place where genuine friendships are formed, traditions are respected, and members are encouraged to grow in confidence, character and understanding throughout life. Our members range across ages, professions and experiences, united not by status or background, but by shared values and a desire to be part of something meaningful.
Alongside our regular meetings, we support charitable causes, enjoy social events, and maintain a strong sense of community both within the lodge and beyond it. While we are proud of our history and traditions, we also believe Freemasonry should remain open, welcoming and relevant to modern life. Waterfall Lodge aims to offer a balance of tradition and approachability — respecting the past while continuing to grow for the future.
Many people first become interested in Freemasonry because they are looking for connection, purpose, personal development, or simply a stronger sense of community in an increasingly disconnected world. Whether you are curious about Freemasonry itself, interested in meeting like-minded people, or looking to contribute to something bigger than yourself, you will always receive a warm welcome at Waterfall Lodge.
If you would like to learn more, ask questions, or express an interest in joining, we would be pleased to hear from you.
